I.The pedagogy

Stefan Crainic teaches acrobatics the way good schools teach anything: with entry points for every level and permission to be a beginner. His approach is built on progressive patterns and task-based exploration, an environment where participants can research, make mistakes, and learn how to approach movements from wherever they currently are.

“Not only to help you acquire new skills, but also to become a better learner.”

II.Where to find the work

The 2026 calendar is public and busy: a five-day Soft Acrobatics and Improvisation intensive in Berlin this June 15 to 19, Human Animal intensives in Berlin in August and Amsterdam in September, all open level. Between workshops, his prerecorded online courses carry the same intent, deepening your understanding of your own body on demand.

“We create an environment where participants can research, make mistakes, and develop an understanding of how to approach different movements.”
